What’s it all about?
So you might be thinking that the camps program is all about camping or a trip away, right? Wrong! The camps program we offer at Doxa is so much more than this.
Offering positive life experiences through a variety of team building activities, personal challenges and eye-opening moments, our camps programs aim to give young people an opportunity for growth and development, no matter what their life circumstance.
Fun is a real focus for the younger years and we also offer curriculum based outcomes for the older years.
The camps are led by our experienced and inspirational staff who support and encourage everyone along their path.
We have residential camps at Malmsbury, north-western Victoria and Elizabeth Street, Melbourne.
Who can attend a Doxa camp?
Our programs are best suited for students in Years 3-9. We work with State and independent schools across Victoria and have a particular focus on working with schools that meet disadvantage criteria.
How to get involved
Bookings can be made directly by schools. Participation costs are heavily subsidised to 60% of the standard camping industry rate and our Campership Fund ensures that no child misses out due to financial hardship.
