Overview

Education Pathways is a 1 day in-school workshop for refugee and newly arrived migrant young people in Years 9-12. The program provides information and builds skills so that students are able to learn about study and career options.

Activities

During the in-school workshop, students participate in a range of personal discovery, group activities and information delivered in clear, concise format with visual aids to assist learning.

What’s achieved

After completing Education Pathways, young people will have:

  • Learnt about the tertiary study options available to them (both university and TAFE options)
  • Developed their confidence and teamwork skills
  • An understanding of education and careers in Australia
