[VACANCY] Assistant Camp Manager

The overall purpose of the Assistant Camp Manager is to assist in the leadership of all aspects of Malmsbury Camp operations, with a key focus on the operational co-ordination and program delivery for the residential camp.

The Assistant Manager will be an experienced outdoor activities facilitator, self-driven, and have a personal commitment to excellence in all areas of our residential camp and Journey program. It is imperative that you are a confident facilitator who is highly organised, productive and able to work autonomously. You must be innovative, enjoy overcoming challenges and have the ability to make confident decisions to ensure the safety of young people and staff.

This role is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people in a residential outdoor education setting.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Current experience and established skills in a formal people management role
  • Experience in delivering evidence-based outdoor programs aligned to defined outcomes
  • Strong capability to make critical decisions and work to scope/time/quality
  • Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills which can be sustained over full days of delivery on multiple days per week
  • Flexibility to attend overnight programs, summer camps and events outside standard working hours
  • A relevant tertiary qualification

[VACANCY] Cadetship Program Coordinator

The primary purpose of the Cadetship Program Coordinator role is to support the Cadetship Manager in the delivery of Doxa’s Cadetship program. The Program Coordinator organises and coordinates the fundamentals of the Cadetship Program to ensure the timely and successful delivery of a high-quality program. The role also plays a big part in supporting the participants of the Cadetship Program. If you care about providing opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to be supported to achieve their full potential – this is the role you’re looking for.

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • An enthusiasm and drive to support young people to achieve their potential
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people (preferably in the 18-25 year age bracket)
  • Superior organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience of implementing process efficiencies and improvement
  • Experience in a diverse range of stakeholder management
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to demonstrate clear examples of forward planning
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, Eventbrite and Survey Monkey ideal though not essential
  • Ability to multi-task
