Gift in Will

Leaving a gift in your will, small or large will help to make lasting change.

When you leave a gift in your will for Doxa Youth Foundation, you are helping children and young people to have positive life experiences through camps and education to overcome challenges and thrive.

We recommend discussing with your solicitor the option that suits you best.

Types of Gifts in Will could include:

  • Residual – remainder of your estate after first leaving gifts to your loved ones.
  • Percentage – a gift expressed as a percentage or fraction of your estate.
  • Specific – a specified gift which can be money, property or stocks and shares.
  • Whole of Estate – this comprises your entire estate and is usually left by those without family or other preferred beneficiaries, or those wanting to achieve something very significant with their gift.

How do I word my will to include a gift to Doxa Youth Foundation.

I leave Doxa Youth Foundation of 355 Spencer Street, WEST MELBOURNE (ABN: 28 005 056 262) (specific monetary value / description of item / percentage of estate) absolutely for the general purposes of the said charity and I direct that the receipt of the Company Secretary or other duly authorised officer shall be a sufficient discharge to my Executors.

Registered Australian Charity Since 1972

Doxa Youth Foundation is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and is endorsed by the Australia Tax Office as a deductible gift recipient under subdivision 30-BA of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
