MALMSBURY CAMP

Our residential Malmsbury Camp is located in central Victoria on the land of the Dja Dja Wurrung people. It offers children and young people the opportunity to be immersed in the Australian bushland and to learn and have fun in the outdoors.

what’s included

All meals and activities are included within the heavily subsidised booking fee.

Activities

Programs are co-designed with each school specific to the year level of students attending.

Malmsbury has a range of outdoor activities which are supervised by qualified outdoor education instructors to high safety standards.

They include, but are not limited to:

  • Climbing tower
  • Giant swing
  • Giant ladder
  • Crate stack
  • Leap of faith
  • River ecology
  • Bush walking
  • Archery
  • Cooking
  • Initiative activities

Accommodation

Our 71-bed residential facility consists of dorm style rooms, with four beds in each room, and there are separate designated rooms for teachers.

The accommodation includes heating throughout and inside toilet and shower facilities.

Meals

Meals are included in your booking. Our meals are prepared with fresh healthy ingredients by our qualified chefs who love to provide for the campers.

Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and dessert are included in your stay. We can cater for all dietary requirements, including halal. Please ask our friendly staff when booking if you have any questions or special dietary requirements.

Transport

Thanks to the generosity of V/Line, one of Doxa’s long standing corporate partners, schools are able to access free V/Line train travel as part of your camp stay with us.

Alternatively you can make your own transport arrangements to the venue at your own expense.

BOOKINGS

Bookings are available all year round during the school term for:

  • 3 day / 2 night stay (Monday – Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday bookings)
  • 5 day / 4 night stay (Monday – Friday booking)
  • 4 day / 3 nights (restricted to availability around public holidays)

camperships

Our Campership Fund exists to support the families of children whose financial circumstance may preclude attendance. Our philosophy is that “no child will miss out due to financial hardship”.
