Overview

In 2016, we launched our Future Focus program for students in Years 7 to 8. The two-year program supports students after they have transitioned from primary to secondary schooling.

How we do it

Through a series of in-school leadership workshops and residential weekends, Future Focus aims to provide young people with the personal, study and leadership skills necessary for future success. In a two-year program, students participate in two residential weekends in Melbourne and eight half-day in-school leadership workshops, culminating in a certificate and awards night at the end of each year.

What we achieve

Future Focus works on students’ personal development and emotional well-being such through¬†goal setting, teamwork, values and resilience. Alongside this, we also address some of the more challenging aspects of being a teenager such as how to deal with bullying, peer pressure, drugs and alcohol, stress and mental health issues.

Join the program

We currently have a full cohort of program participants, however if you would like to find out more about the program please contact our program lead, Lisa.
